Set Sail into History: Experience the USS Arizona Captain's Multimedia Tour
The USS Arizona Memorial stands as the most visited destination in Hawaii for a good reason. Millions of visitors from around the globe come to witness the site where World War II began for the United States on December 7th, 1941.
This incredible tour is a fully customizable, 60-minute to 4-hour self-guided multimedia experience. It’s highly recommended for those seeking an immersive journey into Pearl Harbor’s history, allowing you to grasp the essential facts surrounding the attack by Japanese forces on that fateful day.
Hosted by the renowned actress Jamie Lee Curtis, along with Pearl Harbor Survivors and National Park Service historians, this narrated tour features over 28 key stops that vividly depict the events that forever changed the Pacific and our world.
As you participate in this tour, Jamie Lee Curtis will guide you through the Visitor Center’s two world-class museums. The narration extends to the USS Arizona Memorial for those who have purchased tickets and continues along the shoreline with the incredible “Path of Attack Tour.” You’ll hear firsthand accounts from actual USS Arizona and Pearl Harbor Survivors as they share their stories and retrace the significant events of December 7, 1941.
The tour also includes videos and USS Arizona Memorial library photos, providing you with a rich visual context to enhance your understanding of the events that took place.
