We begin the day with a flight from Maui to Oahu, embarking on an extraordinary adventure through some of the most significant WWII sites in the United States. Our expert guide will narrate each moment, adding depth to your understanding of history.
Tour Highlights
USS Arizona Memorial: Standing above the sunken battleship, you’ll feel the weight of history as you pay tribute to the 1,177 officers and crewmen who lost their lives during the attack on December 7, 1941. This memorial serves as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made for freedom.
Battleship Missouri: Experience a guided tour of the USS Missouri, where the instruments of surrender were signed, officially ending WWII. Walking in the footsteps of historic figures like General Douglas MacArthur and Admiral Chester Nimitz, you’ll be transported to the very moment when the world celebrated peace.
USS Bowfin Submarine: Known as the “Pearl Harbor Avenger,” the USS Bowfin played a vital role in the Pacific battles. Step aboard this remarkable vessel and explore its interior, getting a firsthand look at life aboard a submarine during wartime.
Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum: Housed in two WWII hangars, this museum retains the bullet holes from the attack and displays an impressive collection of wartime aircraft, including an authentic Japanese Zero. It’s an incredible way to learn more about the air battles that took place during the war.
Pearl Harbor Visitor Center: Gain an in-depth understanding of the attack with actual film footage, historic displays, and galleries filled with artifacts and photos. This experience offers insight into the broader scope of WWII and the Pacific conflict.
